Chloë Sevigny for Ellus
The shoot unfolded with the ease that comes from long-standing creative relationships. Photographer Marcelo Krasilcic was behind the camera, with Kleber Matheus shaping the visual direction and Lau Neves on hair and makeup. Chloë Sevigny arrived in Brazil with her effortless cool that has long defined her presence in fashion, bringing a distinctly New York aesthetic into conversation with São Paulo’s design culture.
Created for Ellus, a Brazilian jeanswear brand known for its sharp, enduring point of view, the collaboration felt precise. Sevigny’s casting was about aligning her understated approach to style, mirroring the brand’s commitment to authenticity and attitude over trends.
I styled it with an emphasis on restraint and naturalism. The goal was to allow the clothing to sit comfortably on the body, avoiding anything overly constructed or forced, and to support a visual narrative that felt naturally irreverent and confident.
The final imagery reflects a shared understanding among the team: that strong campaigns emerge from trust, clarity of vision, and the ability to leave space for the work to unfold. The result is a portrait of Brazilian denim shaped by global perspective—measured, contemporary, and enduring.
